Check fit and usable capacity
Measure the outside and usable internal dimensions at agreed points. Place the real contents inside, close the zipper and check that bottles, tools or packaging are not compressed. For a structured case, check the lid, opening and corner shape with the bag filled.
Review colour and logo together
Compare the bag and trim with your agreed colour reference. Check logo spelling, artwork, size, location and process. Review visibility on textured fabric and clarity on transparent panels. Approve the actual sample rather than relying only on a screen image.
Check handling and finish
Open and close the zipper, inspect seam finishing and check lining access. For handled styles, review attachment points and balance with the intended contents. Agree any project-specific performance checks and acceptance criteria before production.
Keep one final approved version
List revisions in one written record and identify the final sample version. The purchase order should refer to the same dimensions, materials, logo, quantity and packing instructions. Where a detail is still undecided, resolve it before authorizing bulk production.
